We offer B.A. degrees in nine areas. We also offer minors in eleven languages and linguistics.

We offer an M.S. Degree in Computational Linguistics and 3 M.A. Degrees in French, Linguistics, and Spanish. Our majors are interdisciplinary and many of our courses are cross-listed with other departments and colleges.

Placement Exams

All students are expected to take a placement exam before registering for language classes. Current undergraduate and graduate students must request access to placement exams. After a student has requested and received access, the exam will be available via MySlice within 24 hours.
